When you ask people, “What Is The Matrix?”, the only reference they have is the 1999 movie “The Matrix”. But in reality, the Matrix is a reference in the Bible.
Don’t you remember being in church all those Sundays hearing the preacher speak of the Matrix? How about in Sunday school? You must have heard it at least once with all the time you’ve known about Christianity, right?
If not then this will be a surprise and may leave you wondering how it was missed. Some are claiming this is another Mandela Effect event.
- KJV Exodus 13:12: That thou shalt set apart unto the Lord all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which thou hast; the males shall be the Lord’s.
- KJV Exodus 13:15: And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the Lord slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the Lord all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.
- KJV Exodus 34:19: All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.
- KJV Numbers 3:12: And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;
- KJV Numbers 18:15: Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the Lord, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.

Makes sense, the Bible has been the inspiration for much art.

That would be funny. If true. Much better than the actual bible

Interesting post Lander. My theory is that our reality is the matrix or a matrix and the Bible is referring to it in so many subtle ways. In parables and pictures mostly. Sort of like layers of hidden meaning. However, I do not believe our reality closely resembles the Matrix (behind the scenes) as portrayed in the movie. However, very similar principles. What is your theory?

You Stated — “My theory is that our reality is the matrix or a matrix and the Bible is referring to it in so many subtle ways.”
My Response — Or maybe even outright:
KJV Numbers 3:12: And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;
You Stated — “However, I do not believe our reality closely resembles the Matrix (behind the scenes) as portrayed in the movie… What is your theory?
My Theory — Rarely, if ever, does anyone ask me this question, usually people just tell me what I believe and then tell me why I am wrong for believing it, thanks for the opportunity. I will give you the best answer I have so far.
The world is very real, our experiences are real, science is real. Reality is based on laws that govern cause and effect. Time is real and our progression through it leaves a real trail. This seems to be the case. We live a daily life inside of a real construct. Matter, Time, Interaction, cause and effect. (Reality)
But
The foundation of our reality is not so real. At best it is a probability based on an interaction. Laws have no meaning at the structural level, time and matter are nonexistent. Even entropy works backwards. Energy, wave function, probability and chance are the only rules. (Engine)
— Those are the two facts of our reality as science dictates.
We live in a real world that can cause us pain; we are guided by fear. Our passions and desires fight against logic and understanding. We are conscious beings that think our way through life. (Reality)
But
At the same time, we have extraordinary occurrences of serendipity, that elude to a better use of the world around us, a world without fear. A world that can be guided by a disciplined mind. Where you must envision who you are and where you want to be. (Engine)
Those are the two facts of our reality as philosophy dictates.
We push past the known and try to think of the unknown. We move forward based on faith in what we do not know, and it works but there are times that it does not. Or it works for some but not for others. Or it works in some cases but not in all cases, nevertheless, it works. The greater our faith the more the effect. The placebo works without reason. (Reality)
But
Focus of faith outside of ourselves gains more ground and at a faster rate. The results are far more impressive. Results so astonishing as to be almost impossible. Results that far exceed the capability of the individual and revel something or someone else in the equation. A disclosure that is almost always only on an individual level and cannot be reproduced since the individual did not cause it in the first place. (Engine)
Those are the two facts of our reality as the divine dictates.
To answer your question:
I think we are living in a persistent illusion, formed of real energy, guided by probability, influenced by the human mind, and restrained by the divine.
I think everyone is fighting and arguing over the limits of their individual understandings. Fighting to prove that reality is what they (as individuals) have experienced.
But
The world reveals different things to different individuals at different times through an engine that we do not have full access to.
The question is this: Can we develop the patience needed, not to kill each other, until we are all on the same page?
Just a thought

Hi again:-) I am grateful that you appreciated the question, and thank you for the answer. It seems to me that in a way we think the same way, and many of the terms and ways of thinking are familiar to me. Only we bypass each other at some fundemental areas. However, that does not matter. It is very interesting to learn about your views, and always good with fresh input.

You have my theory, what is yours?

Hi ❤ Thank you for asking. I am not quite sure that I have a good grasp on your theory and the implications of it. My theory is based on a very real and true experience with the living Word. Therefore, to me it is not a theory it is the truth. This truth is in the book he called me to write for him, or more accurately a piecemeal version the infinite message received. Some of the arguments one can also find in an open discussion on Richard Dawkins's site (February 2022). I got kicked out, so I did not get to finish the discussions started. I could attempt to make a summarized version here, but if our views are too far-off from each other what would be the point? Then, we would both be in the mindset that: "I would agree with you, but then we would both be wrong". Not to mention anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love. Hugs, Isabella

The Matrix is also mentioned in the first Transformers movie – by that I mean the one from the 1980s, way before “The Matrix” trilogy ever came out.

You have to look at the original definition of the word “matrix” and not the definition derived from some movie. A matrix is “A situation or surrounding substance within which something else originates, develops, or is contained.
The womb.
The formative cells or tissue of a specialized structure such as a hair, nail, claw, or tooth.”
In the case of the Bible scripture verses, the reference is to “the womb”, hence the talk about the firstborn be dedicated to the Lord.
