Leviticus 13:45-46
45 “Anyone with such a defiling disease must wear torn clothes, let their hair be unkempt,[a] cover the lower part of their face and cry out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ 46 As long as they have the disease they remain unclean. They must live alone; they must live outside the camp.

I am unsure of what this says. So if someone is vaccinated or has antibodies from a previous infection, then they’re not walking around with the defiling disease, so they don’t have to wear a mask? Only people with active infections have to wear a mask?

You Asked — “So if someone is vaccinated or has antibodies from a previous infection, then they’re not walking around with the defiling disease, so they don’t have to wear a mask?”
My Answer — Incorrect, being vaccinated doesn’t stop you from being a carrier and this verse only applies to carriers. If you follow the Bible then you have to mask up and isolate.
You Asked — “Only people with active infections have to wear a mask?”
My Answer — Correct and that can be anyone who is showing or not showing symptoms. That can be anyone with a mild or major infection. That can be anyone even suspected of having it via observation from anyone around them. If you follow the Bible then you have to mask up and isolate. Unless we can confirm that you are not infected (test),

the verse your quoting is referring to a person with a uncurable disease like leprosy, when you get that disease it was a death sentence, also it refers to mankind as a whole that we have an uncurable disease…SIN, and we need Gods Son Jesus’ blood that was shed on the cross to rid our sin, by placing our faith in the finish work on the cross ( Romans 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God through Jesus Christ our LORD) “covid is curable 99% of those who get covid recover, God Bless, and come quickly Jesus, DM

You Stated — “the verse your quoting is referring to a person with a uncurable disease like leprosy, when you get that disease it was a death sentence, also it refers to mankind as a whole that we have an uncurable disease…SIN”
My Response — Incorrect; The bible does not state “Uncurable Disease”, it states “Defiling disease”. This is a disease that causes the skin to break out where a priest can see it.
Covid19 causes Skin breakouts, sometimes called COVID toes, this symptom typically lasts about 12 days. COVID-19 also has been reported to cause small, itchy blisters, more commonly appearing before other symptoms and lasting about 10 days. Others might develop hives or a rash with flat and raised lesions.
This makes the person “Unclean” . If you follow the Bible then you have to mask up and isolate yourself.

Lander,
my hope is in Jesus, not the CDC, God told the Israelites is how to be safe, it was in the Law of Moses…but Jesus freed us from the Law, see Galatians 2:15-21… God Bless you as you continue your study in Gods Word.

You Stated — “my hope is in Jesus, not the CDC”
My Response — No one has hope in the CDC, since the CDC is not a hope based organization, it’s a health protection agency based on science and public service.
You Stated — “God told the Israelites is how to be safe, it was in the Law of Moses…but Jesus freed us from the Law”
My Response — Agreed, and with freedom comes choice, like the choice to believe the bible or believe your own understanding.
What does the Bible say about God’s word?
2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
Luke 11:28
But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”
And what was the word given?
Leviticus 13:45-46
45 “Anyone with such a defiling disease must wear torn clothes, let their hair be unkempt, cover the lower part of their face and cry out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ 46 As long as they have the disease they remain unclean. They must live alone; they must live outside the camp.
You Stated — “continue your study in Gods Word.”
My Response — You do not give commands for who studies and what is learned. It is by the spirit that we are inspired to learn and all glory is to god. I do not say this to you in anger but rather that you would understand a lie held in your mind, that you have the authority or wisdom to direct me when in fact you have neither, because that authority belongs only to God.

You Stated — “Go with God friend…
My Response — But we are not friends and there isn’t anywhere to go but with God.
We are family, by the word of God and even via observation in science and we both have a friend in Christ because of sacrifice.
But… we haven’t done the hard work of friendship we haven’t even done the easier work of understanding each other.
There is some minor, very light, debate between us because of a virus outbreak about masks but nothing to indicate a willingness to show understanding, compassion, or care of for each other (the founding pillars of friendship).
One could even argue that a friend would wear a mask as a sacrifice for their friends but I would presume, from talking to you, that you are more secular in your belief, you seem to be more of a “my rights” person rather than a “sacrifice for thy neighbor type” ( but I could be wrong since we aren’t friends and I don’t know anything about you)
It could be that you love your neighbors so much that you double mask just to make sure they are safer… who knows. You may sacrifice your own comfort for their sake as Christ sacrificed his for ours. But again, I don’t know.
I feel you want out of this conversation because we disagree on a minor point so I agree we can end this talk. Maybe we will talk again on another topic later.

Lander,
Ok I have time to respond, and give you answer you deserve,
the pandemic and what my opinion is I think isn’t really important, but having said that; when I go out to shop indoors, I do have my mask with me out of respect for the business owners and what they deem safe to them, now I not going into all the science stuff that surrounds Covid 19 and mask wearing and the Vax…
My company where I work requires me to wear a mask with the special needs adults I work with, and I comply, even getting a weekly test, no argument there, my concern is and now with our conversation is not to quarrel ( I do that so easily, and I don’t want to go there ) because I believe you and I are out for the same purpose, to be ambassadors for Jesus, ministers of reconciliation…that’s why I really don’t quibble about the pandemic stuff, I want my boss who is so liberal she has no idea who Jesus is in a personal relationship, but she knows I believe in Jesus as well most of the employees, So Lander my prayer you continue to bring the truth about Jesus in your blog, and one day we’ll see each other when we are glorified,
God Bless,
DM
