People Are Saying That the Famous Annie Song, “Tomorrow” Has Changed — What Do You Remember?

Many people remember the little orphan Annie song, “Tomorrow”, but one part of the song no longer lines up with their memories.

Here is the song section, fill in the missing part (????):

Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
I love ya
Tomorrow!
You’re ????
A day
A way!

Hear it for yourself in these movie clips:
These are the actual lyrics to the song:

Title — “Tomorrow” (Annie)

The sun’ll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There’ll be sun!

Just thinkin’ about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
‘Til there’s none!

When I’m stuck with a day
That’s gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh

The sun’ll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
’til tomorrow
Come what may

Tomorrow!
Tomorrow!
I love ya
Tomorrow!
You’re always
A day
A way!

Where this gets strange:

This clip from the 1982 movie “Annie” is still exactly the way many people remember it.

Even Wikipedia doesn’t remember the the correct lyrics since they referenced a verse that doesn’t exist on their web page dedicated to this song (see below or click the link for the full wiki article), look under “Composition and lyrics”.
