Poem: 10 Little Politicians

I thought it would be fun to create a political poem with some structure.  I don’t support any party so the poem isn’t designed to push anyone in a given direction, I was generally inspired by headlines for each reference.

Ten Politicians.png

Ten Little Politicians drinking expensive wine
One paid with tax payer money and then there were nine

Nine Little Politicians ignoring pizza gate
One got caught ordering and then there were eight

Eight Little Politicians looking up at heaven
One got pulled below and then there were seven

Seven Little Politicians lying just for kicks
One lied to the public and then there were six

Six Little Politicians trying to divide
One changed his party and then there were five

Five Little Politicians knocking at my door
One was pulled in and then there were four

Four Little Politicians giving guarantees
One failed to meet them and then there were three

Three Little Politicians in a media zoo
One hit a reporter and then there were two

Two Little Politicians trying to take our guns
One wasn’t fast enough and then there was one

One Politician helped the world go broke
Now the poor will eat the rich and that is not a joke

  2. Not bad. I expected to see some foot tapping the airport bathroom. That could be a long, long poem if you wanted. Nice work
