Trying to understand God is like trying to understand tomorrow
A place that is always ahead of you
Knows everything about your past
Knows what you will do next
A place that is never where you are, but you are always in it
Time can’t reach it
Space can’t fill it
Hope can’t escape it
Man and Nature can’t destroy it
Tomorrow is infinite
It is fearsome and wonderful
And it is worth seeking
Tomorrow is the beginning for some
And the end for others
Trying to understand God is like trying to understand tomorrow
— Alex Sutton

Well done. Mine is a bit more surreal…

I’ve lost track of what we were referring to, Lander7! Went back and still couldn’t figure it out.

You stated you had a poem that was more surreal. I love surreal things so I wanted to see your poem.

Yes, but I can’t see a poem for that date. I’ll look again.

Perhaps this poem? Can’t find one close to that date that is surreal, although I do have surreal ones. I’ll try to find you one, and in the meantime this one will have to do: https://judydykstrabrown.com/2021/04/02/the-wordsmiths-divulgence/

These lines spoke to me today for I, like all of us humans live inbetween these two places, beginning and ending. I think I will write a devotional on these thoughts. Thank you for your words that spur me to think and then write my thoughts.

As I was, now you are, and soon your words will reach another. We are agents of inspiration. Thank you for keeping it going.
