The Bailong Glass Elevator is built on the side of a huge cliff in the Wulingyuan area of Zhangjiajie, China. 1070 ft (330m) high.
It is claimed to be the highest and heaviest outdoor elevator in the world. Construction of the elevator began in October 1999, and it was opened to the public by 2002.
It’s so dangerous that operations were stopped for 10 months in 2002-2003 due to safety concerns.
On 16 July 2015, the elevator was officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s tallest outdoor lift.
Are You Scared Of Heights?
Scary as hell

Beautiful place it is in. I am not scared of heights. Don’t want to visit that elevator though.

If not because of heights then why not visit?

I’m not sure. It doesn’t appeal to me so much, anyway.

You might want to provide the height in metric unit too.

It’s there next to the feet.

Perhaps you can give some comparisons, such as “It is xxx feet (yyy metre) taller than the Empire State Building.”

Or even compare to the tallest statue.

Well, I hope that you will have more to say at the comment section of my very thorough post, apart from the three-word comment that you left there earlier. Thank you in anticipation.

I don’t celebrate holidays so there wasn’t much for me to connect with but I did find the dragon dances interesting.
I was amazed that every aspect of the holiday was covered, even the zodiac.

Thank you for your reply. This comment of yours should have appeared at the comment section of the said post. How about a Copy and Paste, and then adding a few more recalls, reflections, introspections or the like, such as your previous experiences at some Chinatowns and/or Chinese New Year events?

Nothing to fear unless you are forced to swan-dive or bungee-jump from the top of the glass elevator. 😉

If you were really Indiana Jones reincarnate, then you should be afraid of snakes, not height.

LOL, true. I nearly stepped on a snake once, though.
