Preacher Convinces Congregation To Eat Grass So They Can Be Closer To God

Pastor Lesego Daniel, in Garankuwa, South Africa, was able to convince his congregation to eat grass so they could, ‘be closer to God’.

His methods have drawn criticism but members of his congregation say they are being healed from sickness after eating the grass.

‘Yes, we eat grass and we’re proud of it because it demonstrates that, with God’s power, we can do anything,’ Rosemary Phetha told South Africa’s Times Live.

Although Daniel has not responded to backlash from non-church members, he did post on Facebook: ‘God is at work and His people are testifying…’
