“Just Like Mom” is a Canadian television game show which ran from 1980 to 1985 on CTV. A total of 595 episodes were taped at CFTO-TV in Toronto, Ontario. From the second season on, it was hosted by the husband-and-wife duo of Fergie Olver and the show’s creator Catherine Swing. The format was to determine which child and mother knew each other the best through answer-matching, so the parents were always nearby.

I’m Alison and I was too young to understand his advances. All I knew was that I felt awkward and didn’t like it. I said no multiple times. My mom wasn’t present she was in the green room so she didn’t hear my answers. But there was production staff and an audience and only one woman spoke out.
