Kevin Rene Richardson, known as “The Lion Whisperer“, is a South African animal behaviorist who has worked extensively with native animals of Africa. Richardson has worked with big cats and relies on intuition rather than static rules in his interactions. He rejects traditional methods and prefers to develop a one on one relationship over time with animals.
Richardson has been scratched and bitten from time to time but not dissuaded by the danger.
The lion population in Africa has dropped from about 350,000 to below 25,000. Lion hunting is still a popular sport.

That’s pretty cool. I remember a guy in Alaska, Timothy Treadwell living with the grizzlies. They finally got tired of him.

My thought is quit while you’re ahead. He proved it could be done now go home to your family before some lion has an off day.

These lions seem to adore him. Like a pit bull owner, it’ll never happen to me.
