- This is one of the few times where we have a cell phone recording of the event onset that shows him saying “Life is like a box of chocolates” but the actual movie shows “Life was like a box of chocolates”.
- We also see Tom Hanks replaying the line in a skit on a late night show using the line “Life is like a box of chocolates”.
- Think about the number of skits done on other TV shows and Movies where the line “Life is like a box of chocolates” was used rather than the line in the actual movie. Think about how many production studios, actors, directors, etc got this wrong when reproducing the skit.

- Actors from the TV show being interviewed on the TV show “The View” referred to the show they act on as “Sex In The City”. Why would the actors not know the name of the very show they play in?
- The Emmy Awards referred to the TV show as “Sex In The City”. With the scrutiny and detail provided by the Emmy Award process, how could so many people not only miss getting the name right but never comment on it afterward?
- Even a popular online dictionary has a reference to the show as “Sex In The City”.
Answer 6: The Matrix is the Womb and you first heard of it from the Bible
Where this becomes a Mandela Effect Issue: When you ask people this question the only reference they have is the 1999 movie “The Matrix”. So to now see it in the Bible really freaks people out. Don’t you remember being in church all those Sundays hearing the preacher speak of the Matrix being, the womb? How about in Sunday school? How about on the 24 hour CBN network? How about in Bible College?

- In the original script (by Noel Langley, Florence Ryerson, and Edgar Allan Woolf) there’s no mention of a gun.
- Where did the Scarecrow acquire the firearm in OZ? Is there a gun store next to the yellow brick road? Why not shoot the flying monkeys rather than hide from them?
- Many things were “toned down” from the screenplay to make the movie more kid-friendly. For instance, the skywriting the Witch does with her broom originally spelled “Surrender Dorothy or Die.” Yet nobody considered that when giving a pistol to the friendliest character with no brain was an issue.

- Think about the scrutiny of the Oscars and the fact that no one knew the name they were using for the movie or book was incorrect and no one after the awards mentioned it.

Where this becomes a Mandela Effect Issue: The lead singer “Freddie Mercury”, the band Queen, and millions of people worldwide remember the line as “No time for losers ‘Cause we are the champions…. of the World”.
- A live on stage recording of the band Queen shows the song played the way most remember it but somehow all other recordings, songs, and lyrics, including the first video of it, don’t have this ending.
- Countless remakes and tribute songs have the ending most remember but not the actual song.
Answer 11: In the Bible the lamb lies down with the wolf
Where this becomes a Mandela Effect Issue: Martin Luther King Jr., Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, countless preachers and clergy, and millions of people worldwide remember the lion lying down with the lamb.
- Isaiah 11:6 (KJV): The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

The JFK ME definately woke me up and a few weeks later i started to experienes flip flops of other MEs.
When i “learned” online, that KitKat has a dash, i was really shook when i saw the dash suddenly had dissapeared, both online and in printed media.

“Mandela Effect” is a term that refers to a memory that appears to be faulty. It doesn’t refer to time travelers altering the past.
Technical terminology aside, my mother remembers the show as “Sex AND the City”. As for the “lion lying down with the lamb” – it’s been proven to be faulty memory.

My response — I agree. The ones in my post have too much evidence to dismiss. It has me perplexed.
I’m not sure what to do with it. I’m not easily convinced of anything. The only theory on the table so far that even remotely matches is simulation theory but I’m unwilling to accept it since there is insufficient proof.
I grew up with the wizard of OZ as an almost monthly memory. The scarecrow never had a gun.

I’m a little reluctant with the Star Wars examples, because Lucas made alterations to them. Whether or not C3PO’s leg was one of his changes, though, I don’t know. And a slight grammatical slipup in a title – like “the” for “and”, etc – could easily be an accident. (I’ve seen people call the original SW movie “The New Hope” instead of “A New Hope”). But, I could be wrong.
But I’m still highly skeptical on the wolf and lamb thing in Isaiah. Many say that the KJV was changed to read that. But every other translation, the Septuagint from 250 BC, the Dead Sea Scrolls from around the same time, and all of the quotations of the text from the church fathers says “wolf and the lamb”. The logistics of attempting to change the passage are enormous.

Amusing anecdote: one guy challenged a believer in the lion-changed-to-wolf idea “Look up Hezekiah 7:11” (I’ve forgotten the exact verse number he asked for; I just improvised 7:11). The guy flipped through his Bible a few times before checking the table of contents and realising there’s no Book of Hezekiah! 🙂

Specifically regarding JFK, no. We have people in our government with the means to screw with large sections of the public at any given moment.
Regarding the Bible convo, above, that thing has been translated from translations that were translations…over and over and over, again, with ‘this’ removed because of the times…then ‘that removed’ because of the times…and ‘this’ re-written because of the times…and, worse, ‘that’ mistranslated because Greek & Latin don’t exactly meet in the middle…*sigh* The word ‘Lucifer’, in particular, is a HUGE mistranslation FUBAR between languages. Some words do not translate so, a reasonable ‘facsimile’ is written in its place.
I’ve already expressed my opinion on this supposed ‘effect’, previously. Once events happen and they are recorded in the Akashic, they can’t be altered. The ONLY caveat to that statement is, with enough power, information can be withheld from the Akashic (an event that has happened, once) but, its data can’t be altered once recorded. If you have the ability to read the Akashic (like Chris Thomas could, at one time), you can view history but, you can’t interact with it.
Human memory is a faulty thing as I said, above. Think of the toxic soup we live in. Poisoned air, poisoned water, poisoned food, poisoned drugs… The people that claim something was one way and, then, it suddenly changed…how many prescriptions are they on? What chemicals in their diet do they consume? Aspartame, alone, can cause lesions in the brain and migraines.
I know from personal experience that BC pills cause severe depression. That means, it altered my brain’s chemicals for seven years in my teens & 20s…and my personality & view of the world. I can’t truly trust anything I remember from those years. Antidepressants…alter brain chemistry to change serotonin or norepinephrine. How many people in this country are jacked up on SOME kind of chemical?

i think that the sum of it. people are told they remember it right and they believe it. then call it a mandela effect when in reality it may have been changed and no one noticed. the short term and long term memory loss even in the very young.

Has anyone come across any actual reality pieces such as old VHS old board games or something physically you can hold in your hand the shows are memories are correct? My mother has a cookbook it’s a recipe that calls for one box of Stouffer’s Stove Top Stuffing so it did really exist. Could this be the so-called residual effect? If you can find something physical to hold in your hand that proves your memory is correct it seems to me that the only place we’re being told we’re not remembering correctly and making reference to is All Digital stuff that’s on the internet and that’s easy to change. For every Mandela effect try to find physical proof that your memory is correct and I’m sure you can it’s the internet that is making you think your memories are not correct
