Prince Warned People About Elevators Being “The Devil” And Then Died In One

Music producer, L.A. Reid, had a private conversation with Prince that he described as “spooky“.

“One time I was with him privately and he said, ‘You know what the elevator is right?'” Reid recalled. “He said. ‘Well, the elevator is the devil…’ And so for me, it was like really haunting when I read that he was found in an elevator.”

Prince was pronounced dead shortly after being found unresponsive in an elevator in his Paisley Park compound in Minneapolis.

Fans are also pointing to one of Prince’s songs that now has a haunting connection to his death. The song is titled, “Let’s Go Crazy.” I copied some of the lyrics from the song below that I thought were relevant to what the fans are talking about.

“There’s something else
The after world
And if the elevator tries to bring you down
Go crazy, punch a higher floor
Are we gonna let the elevator
Bring us down
Oh, no let’s go!
We’re all gonna die
Before the grim reaper come knocking on your door
He’s coming
Take me away!”

Then there’s the bizarre Instagram issue:

Prince posted this comment on Instagram: “Just when u thought u were safe.” What is more troubling however is the fact that the comment is no longer posted there – it has clearly been removed. 111w.jpg

Where this gets even stranger:

There is a movie called, “Devil”. It’s about people who become trapped in an elevator with the devil.

All of this is very strange indeed.

  1. I’ve feared drowning all my life. But to this day water has not claimed me. Why Prince and not me. He had a real fear of the devil; I do not.
