In South Africa, Thousands Of White Men Were Tormented With Electricity To Cure Them Of Being Gay By An Army Psychiatrist

In 1969 thousands of homosexuals were handed over to the care of Dr. Aubrey Levin (South African army psychiatrist).

At the Voortrekkerhoogte military hospital near Pretoria, Levin used electroconvulsive experimentation on thousands of white homosexual men and a small subset of women. Dubbed (The Aversion Project )

Electrodes were strapped to a patient’s arms and then they were subject to severe electrical shocks while being forced to watch pictures of naked men. They were then forced to look at Playboy magazine centerfolds without any shocks to train them to be straight.

Other common types of treatment involved experiments on subjects with narcoanalysis drugs while others were chemically castrated with massive doses of hormones. These experiments all failed.

Levin was warned that he would be named an abuser of human rights so he emigrated to Canada to work at a teaching hospital.

Here is the tip of the iceberg of what we now know about human sexuality:

In 5-alpha reductase deficiency (5-ARD), androgen levels are normal but an enzyme necessary for male genital development is missing; these individuals may appear to be female and may be raised as girls, but at puberty, they develop masculine secondary sex characteristics

In congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH), a female fetus (XX) is exposed to high levels of adrenal hormone and is born looking like a boy. They have atypical or ambiguous genitalia (external sex organs that resemble male genitals). However, they still have normal internal female organs (ovaries and uterus).

In androgen insensitivity syndrome (AIS), a male fetus is unresponsive to androgens and is born looking like a girl. A person who is genetically male (one X and one Y chromosome) but has some or all of the physical traits of a woman.

Babies that are born with both male and female sexual organs, or characteristics of both organs, are called hermaphrodites or intersex. A child who is in an intersexual state is classified in one of three categories:

  1. True hermaphrodite – an infant born with both ovaries and testicles and has both male and female sex organs.
  2. Female pseudohermaphrodite – a genetic female with male external sex organs.
  3. Male pseudohermaphrodite – a genetic male with external sex organs that fail to develop properly, resulting in female or male/female physical characteristics.

Some human beings are born into bodies different than that of the majority. My question is this; “Why are they feared and hated so much?”

  1. We fear what we don’t know. Ignorance fuels fear.

  2. They are feared because people see them as different. Any difference is to be feared because it might be contagious and affect the person who notices the difference. Not that anyone can see the cifference in most situations, but that has no bearing on fear. Along with difference is fear of the unknown. What if you fall in love with a beautiful femsle, only to find out she has no vagina. HELP!
Fear is in the mind. There is no real use for fear, unless one is truly in danger. Sexual organs are not dangerous, in or of themselves. Minds, on the other hand, are very dangerous things, especially when they fear that which is not fearsome.

  3. In the beginning (whatever that means) such people would have been considered mutants. In some societies, they were practically venerated. In others, particularly those that developed the worship of the One Male God, they were considered abominations and were killed off or exiled to die off in some wilderness. The tradition continues and grows as the One Male God concept continues to expand and dominate organized religion. There is no rhyme or reason for it, it’s like other Earthian sicknesses: misogyny, racial hatred, exceptionalism based on some belief system. Although I was sure I hid my own “condition” very well, I was still fingered out – it’s like “they” knew I was different and I’ve paid the social price for something there is nothing I can do about. Yes, I’m transgendered… You can’t fight the combination of bigotry, stupidity and ignorance and that is the #1 condition of mankind. No wonder democracies fail!

My response — In this case a scientist in the army was the problem not god.

You stated — “There is no rhyme or reason for it, it’s like other Earthian sicknesses: misogyny, racial hatred, exceptionalism based on some belief system.”

My response — I agree, wether religion or science, there is no justifiable reason to harm people for being gay. As you said, It is a sickness but I think the cure is simple:

We have to reject abuse wherever we see it and stop those committing it by any means available.

      • Most of those people, the racist descendants of the Boers were rabid ultra right-winged Christians and the vilest category and one can only assume that this “scientist” was definitely motivated by Christian indoctrination. My comment about the spread of the Christian/Islamic disease or belief in the One Male God was a general observation not specific to the “doctor” in question. Sorry if I didn’t make that clear.

My response — I beg to differ. I have posted many articles and have found that the aggressive destructive experimental torture of human beings is happening in every culture I have encountered.

There seems to be a dark urge by some people (not all) within every race, culture, and society. I used to believe it was religious zealots but I now know it’s a human condition.

Why (I don’t know) but it isn’t localized to one tribal group. Look for yourself. The worst I have ever learned about was the Japanese, by far more horrible than even the Nazis.

Here is the full list so far. There are monsters hiding among us, acting like real people when in fact all they do is rob us of our humanity, kill, and destroy everything they can get away with.

The South African government justified apartheid based primarily on biblical interpretation, and this included such actions you have posted about.

            • I’m clearly not arguing what is used to justify behavior but rather pointing out the same behavior keeps repeating itself in the absence of religion.

This is to say that we have a human condition, that for some reason, keeps abusing minorities within every society on earth.

The question I have is why?

              • How do you know religious motivation does not underpin such actions?

              • There are definitive answers to your “why?” question but to find them means having to sail uncharted waters and not many are willing or even able, to do so. Earthians exist in a permanent state of hypnosis in which the evil they would never do, they do and they justify. In order to answer you question, you need to discover, then confront, the actual wizard behind the curtain. Even without esoteric methods of “spirit guides” or “Teachers” or input from “angelic” or alien sources, there is enough evidence all around us to discover why we do what we do, but that evidence is hidden by a programming of denial and that has to go first. No one can set us free from our mind prison, we have to do this ourselves, one-on-one, and it becomes a life-long struggle to remain free and secure that freedom.

                • You Stated — “No one can set us free from our mind prison, we have to do this ourselves, one-on-one, and it becomes a life-long struggle to remain free and secure that freedom.”

My Response — The complexity and strange nature of the prison is what I find the most interesting. As you walk around the prison you notice that the guards are you. The person waiting outside the gate for your escape is you. The person behind the bars is you. In fact the person who built the prison is you.

We seem to be in a struggle of ideas. The human race spends most of it’s time fighting for or against an idea. Everyone is right and everyone is wrong.

But now it’s my turn… and I find the rules of engagement to be lacking. I don’t see a need to be right or escape. I am becoming more and more curious of a strange glitch in this never ending process.

There is something in the struggle to know that exceeds the knowledge gained. Trying to understand may be more important than actually understanding.

This is to say that those who have gained understanding may be handicapped compared to those who seek it.

The prison is no more real than the freedom waiting outside, but the way that people try to escape and the way people try to keep you in, somehow, reveal hidden truths about reality.

The more opposing the perspective to mine the better. It allows me to see the millions of prisons that everyone is in and all the possible escape routes.

Imagine what we can become with that much information.

                    • You Asked– “why seek for something you do not wish to find?”

My Answer — I have no wishes to find or not find anything but I do enjoy and benefit from learning.

Just in case: Another way of answering this is with an example.

I randomly, from time to time, take a break from my core focus, (Computers, the Bible, and Philosophy) to intentionally seek something unknown. I’m not really sure what I’m looking for or even if it will be interesting but so far it has provided some very fascinating results. (Like This Web Site).

I don’t have a goal, there’s no plan and I don’t care what the outcome is. I’m just curious.

I looked for a magic lamp.
Found it, rubbed it and a genie came out
                      It gave me three wishes
but I was more curious what would happen if I never replied

I’m just curious about the things people aren’t talking about because they sometimes lead to something strange or new that I never thought of and it makes me think in more complex ways.

I’m curious about your avatar, why did you pick it?

      • As for abuse, the only thing that will ever stop abuse is when each and every individual chooses to become a compassionate being. Less than that and abuse will continue to spread exponentially as the population expands. Abuse begins at the crib and reaches its greatest horrible effects in the halls of power. Every aggression, every war, every oppressive act, every form of enslavement including prostitution; every underpaid labour or unpaid service, every misuse of trust, every lie is abuse. When we buy goods produced with “cheap labour” or with resources extracted without due compensation from helpless nations we participate in abuse. When we shop Amazon, that is blatant abuse. When we vote for crooked, criminal, abusive political figures such as the current president of the USA, that is deliberate abuse. We cannot just “reject” abuse, we must change our very lifestyle that currently accepts and approves abusive behaviour. This isn’t just about political correctness, it’s about the very nature of man. Your comments reminded me to watch the movie, “The Help” again, as a reminder of how hate justifies abuse and how that infects an entire society.

          • The prostitutes’ expressed concerns may be real, or not, but as they say, “everybody’s got a mortgage to pay” and these women need to pay the rent, eat, dress… basically survive in a predatory capitalistic society. The sex-bots are serious and threatening competition. If their trade, however questionable some may find it, dies, what are they supposed to do to stay alive? Again, this points to an end of this civilization and the urgent need to usher a new way, one that does not require use, abuse, exploitation, oppression and enslavement, particularly of women and children. Also obviously a world that does not need the services of prostitutes, male, female or child.

On a side note one of the big customers to prostitutes (Truck Drivers) are also being setup for replacement by self driving trucks.

A strange coincidence that those two are being replaced at the same time. (prostitutes and truck drivers).

  4. Most gays are not hermaphrodite – and classifying a hermaphrodite as either “gay” or “heterosexual” would be kinda hard (since they’re technically both genders).
