Seventy-year-old twin brothers died within hours of one another after separate accidents on the same road in northern Finland.
The first of the twins died when he was hit by a lorry while riding his bike in Raahe, 600 kilometers north of the capital, Helsinki.
About two hours later, his brother crossed the same road on his bicycle and was also hit and killed by a lorry.
He died just 1.5km from the spot where his brother was killed.
Police in Raahe stated that it was unlikely the second man knew that his brother had already been killed, as they had not yet informed the family of the accident.
A tragic strange case of twin death.
Damn. Lander, you misspelled Road in the title.

At least that typo proves I’m not a bot or AI 😀

Then again, that is what a bot or AI would do to fool me into thinking you were human!

Besides that, interesting piece. Coincidence or something else? Do twins tend to pass around the same time or does one tend to outlive the other?

On average I would guess they outlive each other but when they don’t it’s usually understand strange circumstances.

It is also interesting to note that there are cases of twins (separated at birth) when they find each other again years later, they discover that they have lived nearly identical or identical lives – such as doing the same things, have same or similar likes, marrying woman with the same name, etc. Another weird thing.
