A Fungus That Can Control The Minds Of Insects

Cordyceps is a parasitic fungus that mainly attacks insects, takes over their minds, replaces their tissue, and sprouts stems that grow outside of the host body.

These stems eventually release spores into the air, infecting other hosts. There are many different Cordyceps species, each for a separate species of insect.
