Arnold Gerrit Henskes (6 August 1912 – 26 May 1948), AKA Mirin Dajo, was a Dutch performer. He became famous for piercing his body with all kinds of objects and apparently without fatal injury, even astounding the medical community. He also swallowed glass and razor blades.

He believed that people should abandon the materialistic worldview and accept there was a higher force, “The Source”.
