July 16, 2012 – The movie, “The Dark Knight Rises” is released.

July 20, 2012 – The Aurora mass shooting takes place at a screening of the movie.

The mass shooting occurred in Aurora, Colorado, the shooter killed twelve people and seventy others were injured. Holmes fired 76 shots in the theater: six from the shotgun, 65 from the semi-automatic rifle, and five from the .40-caliber handgun.

Where this first gets strange:

Within the movie is a scene where we see a flyby of the city, in the distance, you can see a building with giant red letters reading, “Aurora“.

December 14, 2012 -The Sandy Hook mass shooting takes place at the local elementary school.

The mass shooting occurred in Newtown, Connecticut, the shooter fatally shot 20 children between six and seven years old, as well as six adult staff members and his mother.

Where this starts to become statistically challenging:

Within the same movie is a scene where we see a map of Gotham City. The character, “Commissioner Gordon”, is pointing to the words “Sandy Hook” on the map, circled in red. To push it even further the map appears to have some light comparisons to the actual area of Sandy Hook.

Looking for the person behind the props in the movie only throws more fuel on this very curious fire.

Scott Getzinger, is the prop master who provided the maps used in the film and he also lived in Sandy Hook. Unfortunately, nobody can ask Mr Getzinger why he added Sandy Hook to the maps in the film since he died in a car accident in Sandy Hook.

But there’s more:

Feb 6, 2013 – Scott Getzinger’s wife, Susan McGuinness Getzinger, came forward to expose abuse within the Connecticut school system. She also went on record stating that her husband was killed in a fatal car accident only after she protested local corruption at a previous public hearing.

  1. A most interesting post!! It reminded me of something I read years ago regarding the illumination of such bizarre connections (like the ones you posted here) proposed by psychiatrist Carl Jung.

Synchronicity (German: Synchronizität) is a concept, first introduced by analytical psychologist Carl Jung, which holds that events are “meaningful coincidences” if they occur with no causal relationship yet seem to be meaningfully related.[1] During his career, Jung furnished several different definitions of it.[2] Jung defined synchronicity as an “acausal connecting (togetherness) principle,” “meaningful coincidence”, and “acausal parallelism.” He introduced the concept as early as the 1920s but gave a full statement of it only in 1951 in an Eranos lecture.

  2. I like to think of it from a more organic perspective. In nature, everything has a purpose, patterns expose the flow of information and provide an opportunity to avoid disaster. If one is aware of interlaced hints of things to come hidden in media, then one can, in essence, see the future.

If one can perfect this process how much more would they see? What could they prevent or avoid?

    • I suppose being inwardly attuned and looking for connections is a step in evolving awareness and consciousness of things Beyond one’s complete understanding and control. I recall hearing the story about the shaman of a Caribbean tribe who tried to make others aware of what was coming on the horizon. Apparently they could see nothing because they had never focused on anything other than their hand to mouth existence and what it took to survive Life On Life’s terms for them. The shaman had a little more free attention and a gift for recognizing that he was seeing something totally new on the horizon. He had no way of knowing these were the ships coming from Europe who would violently commodify the new world.
